Magazine
This is the magazine I have been using. Just a metal box that I came across  .080" metal,  linned with .125" wood and the lid overlaps .5" single 3/8ths case hardened lock with 5-thumblers. Chained to the foundation. My agnet at first liked it, but then later said that her supervisor had problems with it. They are calling it a Type 3 "day box" and say that it is not to be used for permenant sotrage. They did say that I needed it to transport my motors to launches, but then I would be required to store my "day box' in a Type 1 or 2 magazine at the launch site.
They said that I needed a Type 4 for permenant storage. When asked for specs for a Type 4 they could not find any.  I am able to fabricate and weld so I was able to make my own. I used 10 gauge steel with .5" partical board for the linning. It's 14"w x 24"h x 24" deep. The door overlaps the sides by 1.25"  Weighs about 110 pounds empty and is bolted to the foundation of my home.  I was not able to have a true hinge system on the door becasue of it's location  and things were pretty tight. I came up with a sytem that locks the door in-place but also allows the door to come off when the "locking rod" is removed.
